How to order a Mattress for your Semi Truck Cab?
Any mattress from Direct Bed that is available in RV Bunk Size is available to be ordered for your Truck Cab. Select RV Bunk Size when you make your purchase, and in the notes section of your order at checkout please mention the exact size that you need. The best way to measure for the size of your mattress is to remove the existing mattress and measure the length and width of the base below.
As for weight support, you can use the following guide.
- ► A 5" Foam mattress will support 200 lb.
- ► Every 1" of foam after that will support an additional 50 pounds.
- ► This applies to foam mattresses only.
- ► For example: a Sherbrooke mattress will support 300 pounds.
- ► A Breton mattress will support 350 pounds.
We mostly recommend foam mattresses for Truck Cab mattresses, because they are a little more flexible and easier to get into your truck cab. They are also a good blend of support and comfort.
